I was recently able to sit down with Roussillon based Château de l’Ou’s Séverine Bourrier and taste through her 2018 and 2017 releases. Both vintages are solid at this estate and the wines are packed with fruit and richness (those looking only for lightweight, high acid wines need not apply) while staying balanced, light on the palate, and elegant.
Readers can find more information on Château de l’Ou at Producer Profile: Château de l’Ou – A Rising Star in the Roussillon but as I said then, Château de l’Ou is certainly one of the rising stars in France’s Roussillon region.
