2018 Matanzas Creek Sauvignon Blanc Sonoma County

It has an exotic, tropical bouquet that includes plenty of tart pineapple, grapefruit, and floral notes. This carries to a medium-bodied, dry, crisp white with good concentration, bright acidity, and a great finish. It's one of the more serious, age-worthy releases in the lineup and I suspect it will keep for over a decade.

Classic California Chardonnay notes of baked apples, spice, and brioche all emerge from the glass, and it's textured, medium-bodied, and balanced on the palate. It's a terrific house white and ideal for enjoying over the coming year or two.
