2017 Laurel Glen Cabernet Sauvignon Counterpoint

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Counterpoint is a softer, more forward effort yet has chewy, firm tannins. It has good fruit, but it certainly shows the more challenging side to the 2017 vintage. Give it a year or two, then plan on drinking bottles over the following 4-5 years.

2016 Laurel Glen Cabernet Sauvignon Laurel Glen Vineyard

Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate vineyard in the Sonoma Mountain AVA, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Laurel Glen Vineyard was brought up in 55% new French oak. It sports a deep purple color as well as lots of mineral-drenched black and blue fruits along with notes of charcoal, graphite, and lead pencil. It's rich and medium-bodied, with beautiful purity of fruit and a balanced style that's going to age gracefully. It shows the purity, balance, and overall harmony of this great vintage.
