2018 Lombardi Pinot Noir Giusti Ranch

Lastly, the 2018 Pinot Noir Giusti Ranch comes from the Russian River and is a mix of 667 and 777 Clones, all destemmed, and brought up in 50% new oak. As with all these releases, it's a tiny production release and there are a scant 100 cases made. Black raspberries, caramelized cherries, sappy flowers, violets, and lots of baking spice notes emerge from this medium-bodied effort. With good texture and balance, it shows the more mid-weight yet pure, elegant style of the vintage nicely. There are only 100 cases made.
