2016 Cornerstone Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Station

Blended with a splash (3%) of Petit Verdot and brought up in 70% new French oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Station comes from a site just beside To Kalon. It offers a sappy, firm, slightly backward style that I suspect will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age. Nicely concentrated, with lots of herbal, tobacco, cedar, and dark fruit, it should have 10-15 years of overall longevity.
