2017 Roland Grangier Saint Joseph Cote Granits

Coming all from granite soils and aged in 50% new barrels, the 2017 Saint Joseph Côte Granits sports a deep purple color as well as plenty of black fruits, smoked earth, ground pepper, and earthy, meaty nuances. It's nicely textured, medium-bodied, and relatively foursquare and chunky. Still, it has solid depth of fruit and richness. Drink bottles over the coming 6-7 years.
