2018 Domaine Des Remizieres Crozes-Hermitage Cuvee Christophe Blanc

The 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Cuvée Christophe Blanc (85% Marsanne and 15% Roussanne brought up in barrel) offers a medium gold color to go with a ripe, sexy bouquet of caramelized peach, brioche, white flowers, and honeysuckle. It's rich and powerful, yet has good acidity, nicely integrated oak, and a clean, dry finish. Give bottles a year, then drink over the following 2-4 years. It's another food-friendly, beautifully balanced wine from this team.

Deep purple-colored, with notes of blackberries, scorched earth, graphite, ground pepper, and violets, it hits the palate with beautiful fruit, a rich, layered texture, and ripe tannins. It's a beautiful, charming, layered Crozes Hermitage to enjoy over the coming 4-6 years.
