This latest Up From The Cellar is another mishmash of new releases and wines pulled from the cellar. Looking at the new releases, I was finally able to get through a handful of importer samples from Vintus and Hand Picked Selections, with wines from numerous Languedoc and Roussillon producers, as well as a few Burgundies and wines from South America.

The report also includes a bevy of older Bordeaux (as well as a legendary Sauternes), some terrific Rhônes, the latest from Mitolo and Tarrawatta from Australia, and a few great values from California, including a few new releases from Chad Melville’s Melville Estate and the latest vintage of Vermillion, which is a blend from the Sierra Foothills made by Helen Keplinger.

Happy hunting!
