This report looks at the wines of Carl Studer, who runs a brilliant wine shop, Carl Studer Vinothek, in Lucerne, Switzerland. While Carl is one of the top importers in Switzerland of high-end Southern Rhônes and California Rhône blends (he’s a Rhône lover), he also represents a number of tiny producers from Germany, Switzerland, and Italy, which is the focus of this report.
