I’m continuing the Importer Highlight articles with the wines of Peter Weygandt. I’ve known Peter for close to 10-years now and while I know his Rhône Valley wines well, I was thrilled to have a broader view of his portfolio for this article.

Peter has been importing French wines since 1987 and today his portfolio includes wines from German, Austria, Italy, Spain, and Australia, mostly from small, artisanal, family-run estates. Across the board, the wines deliver top-notch quality, and in just about every case, represent terrific values. They are unquestionably some of the finest wines brought into the United States and are well worth seeking out.

This report focuses on current releases from Alsace, Loire, Burgundy, Austria, and Germany, with a few wines from other regions in France, Spain, and Italy.
